      artofsqa theworstdev fiercekittenz I see that angle. The flipside candidates are put on the backfoot when confronted with a tech test causing undue pressure that doesn't mimic real-world ones (fixing the task & impressing the interview) There are pros and cons to both, but for me a good conversation is the best.

    artofsqa theworstdev fiercekittenz ...and honestly, as much as people joke about dev's Googling and using Stackoverflow, they should always be acceptable to me, just as long as you take time to understand. So tests shouldn't restrict these, as in a pinch we would all do it!
